Okay, I know I’m tripping, but some of the stuff my kid does on a random Tuesday would’ve had my mama calling the church mothers for backup. Slamming doors? Raising your voice? Saying ‘I don’t like how you talked to me’? Whew. We grew up knowing certain looks meant ‘get quiet or get got.’ You didn’t roll your eyes, you didn’t say ‘that’s not fair,’ and you definitely didn’t ask ‘so what are my options?’ unless you were trying to meet Jesus early.
